Come on, get up,” Mom said. “We have to go to our new house to help fix the house.” “Fine,” I replied. I got dressed and waiting for mom to brush her teeth. Finally, we went. “We are going to paint today,” Dad said.
He handed me a bucket of paint, with a paint brush sitting on top. I sighed, and starting painting the outside of the house. This was going to be a long seven days.
Fortunately, the week passed quickly, and the house was done. Most of the furniture was inside. My room was fixed, and it looked great, even though not all of the furniture was inside. That night, I got out of the shower, and put on my pajamas. The house was almost pitch-black. It was really freaky. I climbed into bed, and pulled the covers over my head. I admit, I had a feeling that something paranormal was in here. Suddenly, I heard the clock fall down, and it started beeping like crazy. My eyes grew wide. After a minute, it suddenly stopped. I started to relax a little, but I suddenly heard a picture frame crash to the ground, shattering pieces of glass. I hid my head under my pillow. What was going to happen next? All of a sudden, the bed started shaking violently. I quickly screamed, “MOM! DAD! HELP!” I heard footsteps down the hallway, and into my room. “What’s wrong?” Dad asked. “Something…in…here!” I stuttered. “What?” Mom asked. “Something shook my bed, and tipped over the things on my drawer!” “Maybe it is loose, and maybe your bed was, too. They must have bumped into other things in the truck.” “It was something else. I have a feeling that there is something invisible in here.” “Go to sleep,” Dad said, turning off the light, as he walked upstairs, back to his room. Mom slowly followed him. I stared at the entrance, full of fear. I wanted proof. I reached under my bed and pulled out a camera I got for my birthday. It was really expensive, and it could catch things that were hard to see. Suddenly, I heard movement in the hallway. Without looking, I clicked the camera. The picture appeared on the screen. My eyes grew wide when I saw what was in it. There was a white blur on the edge of the picture! To be continued…
